    Situated in a quiet street in the bastide village Eymet are two charming apartments; apt un and apt deux; both of which have been sympathetically renovated to meet modern day living requirements and contain all the necessities that one expects including flat screen TVs, WIFI internet access, fully equipped kitchens, extra large comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.

    You are all but a short stroll to the historic picturesque square which offers an interesting mix of shops and restaurants.
    Run by a Kiwi/French couple who live onsite and are available to assist with ideas on where to go and what to see.

    The village itself is easily accessible with Bergerac airport being a 20 minute drive and Bordeaux and Toulouse airports being an 1 1/2 and a 2 hour drive away.

    Location description

    The area is reknown for its fabulous wine, regional products, beautiful countryside, traditional weekly markets and offers a range of activities from canoeing, kayaking, walking, cycling, visiting neighbouring villages (some of which are classified as the most beautiful in France), numerous chateaux, the list is endless.

    Directions

    Should you wish to fly and hire a car we are situated just 20 minutes south of Bergerac airport, gateway to the Dordogne.

    With over 8 flights a day from all over the UK (and more being added all the time), it couldn't be easier to get here.

    Car hire is available at Bergerac airport and also in Eymet.

    It is also an easy journey from the UK whether by car or plane. We are approximately 400 miles from St Malo and 575 miles from Calais & Boulogne. Both are easy journeys using the excellent French motorway network.

    From both Paris and Bordeaux the train is a comfortable option. Connections can be made to Bergerac from both cities. Check the Rail Authority's website for schedules and fares.

    Directions from Bergerac airport - it takes about 20/25 minutes:

    Leave the airport & at the main road turn right (signposted Bergarac)
    After 500m you come to a roundabout - turn left (signposted Bordeaux)
    Follow the bypass for approximately 1km, at the roundabout turn left (signposted Eymet)
    Follow this road for 20km.
    150 metres after the Eymet sign you will cross a small bridge - le Dropt, you continue straight and then turn right and take the first left. Maison No. 20 is situated about 1/2 way along the street on the right hand site.
