    Description

    This lovely modern 2 bed apartment is available for rent in a quiet and tranquil part of Spain. The apartment is furnished to a high standard with all modern facilities and has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, oven & grill, fridge freezer, washing machine and all cutlery, crockery, glasses etc.

    There are two double bedrooms each with two single beds and fitted wardrobes with plenty of hangers and sets of drawers. There is a corner sofa bed in the lounge, Wi Fi, TV (with English channels) and DVD player. The bathroom has an over bath shower and bidet (linen and towels provided, plus towels for pool/beach use).

    There are excellent views of the sunset from the roof terrace – excellent for al-fresco dining.

    Small kettle Weber BBQ available (all you need is the charcoal and firelighters)

    The nearest beach is Puerto de Mazzaron and the National Park (Sierra Espuna) – both only 15 minutes by car.

    The apartment is about 45 minutes from Murcia (San Javier) or 1 hour from Alicante airport. Easy jet fly into Murcia (San Javier) and most budget airlines fly into Alicante.

    The Condado Club is 5 minutes’ walk away with a gym, tennis courts, five-a-side football pitch, children’s play area, “kids club” (seasonal), bar with a good selection of food and a beauty salon.
    The main centre, Al Kasar, is a 20 minute stroll from the apartment. It has a supermarket, bars, restaurants (Spanish/French/American/Bulgarian), ice cream parlour, bakery and also has a beauty salon.

    The Jack Nicklaus signature golf course is also on site with a practice area and driving range.

    Location description

    Where is Condado de Alhama?
    Condado de Alhama is in southern Spain and is located close to the historic thermal spa town of Alhama de Murcia, the sunniest province in Spain. The apartment is 45 minutes from the San Javier (Murcia) airport and just over 1 hour from Alicante airport.

    Condado de Alhama offers a holiday within a secure gated community and landscaped environment, with 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. The resort enjoys good connections linking it to the rest of Murcia and major arterial routes throughout Spain with good connections to the Costa Cálida coastal areas of Murcia and the interior region of Murcia.Cartagena, Murcia and Lorca are all within a 40 minute drive, offering large shopping centres and a wide programme of cultural activities and sporting facilities.

    The newly developed Port of Mazarrón has a beautiful beach and harbour and is just a 15 minute drive from our apartment. As are the other numerous child friendly beaches of Mazarrón for you to enjoy. Close by is the historic thermal spa town of Alhama de Murcia, nestled at the foot of the Sierra Espuna (national park), a pine clad haven for walkers, cyclists and lovers of the outdoors which is also only 15 minutes away.

    Directions

    Directions from Murcia
    Exit airport and follow signs for AP7 Cartegena/Los Alcazeres
    At second rabout go under motorway and turn left onto AP7 sign posted Los Alcazares.Travel a few junctions and exit at 790 Los Alcazares/Torre Pacheo
    At bottom of slip road turn right towards Torre Pacheo
    Keep following signs for Torre Pacheo and at next rabout go straight across following F30 Torre Pacheo.
    You will see a resort on the right and hotel on the left .
    At next rabout take the A30 towards Murcia/Caregena.
    Continue on A 30 although you lose the sign for this but dont panic look for El Jimendo
    Go through the village and you will reach a major rabout
    Take second exit RM2/A7 Alhama de Murcia /Andulucia
    Travel on the motorway for 30km (20 mins) and look for junction 4 signposted RM23/MU603 for Mazerron.
    End of slip road go round the rabout following the RM23/MU603 towards Mazerron.
    Condado de Alhama is junction 5 and is clearly signposted.

    Directions from Alicante
    Follow exit and at first rabout follow the E15/A7 /A70 Murcia signs
    KEEP FOLLOWING SIGNS FOR MURCIA
    Football stadium on right / IKEA on left (you will have been travelling for approx 30mins)
    Keep left and then move over to the right and follow signs for Grenada / Almeria- E15/A7
    Look for a sign Bahia de Mazerron and immediately after exit at Junction 601B (be careful not to take the first exit 601A) (you will have been travelling for approx another 20 mins)
    Continue on dual carriageway and exit at junction 4 and follow signs for Mazerron
    Exit junction signposted Condado de Alhama (you will have been travelling for approx another 10 mins).
    Go round the r’about and take the exit lined with trees
    At r’bout take first exit and continue until you come across the second security gate which is manned (approx 3km).
