We built the house 2007, in the local style with the upper part, "OurPlace"-a 2 bed roomed apartment upstairs being of wooden constructions with the 2x self catering studio apartments below.
We built the house for us to share with friends and family & now have guests from all over the world returning time & time again.
So far all who have stayed have fallen in love with the village, it's people and the house which is very satisfying..We love it and hope you will as well.
We have planted the garden with a variety of flowering plants & shrubs so we get a lot of birds visiting us such as the MotMot, Ant Shrikes & 5 varieties of hummingbirds.
Panday our friend & gardener will be happy to give you whatever is in season & ripe -just ask!
At all times we have use locally sourced materials and local craftsmen. Almost every man and boy in the village has worked on our house at sometime or other.
We run the house in an Eco-friendly style & are active members of the Castara Tourism Development Association (CTDA).
We invest in the local community & can help you organise personalised tours to the many activities that Castara & Tobago offer such as island tours, Sunday school. Snorkel with the Stingrays in the bay or visit Buccoo Reef, Nylon Pool, Bio Luminance tours at the Lagoon, visit Little Tobago, Goat Island. Ride horses in the sea with Being with Horses, Surf or see local chocolate making to name just a few!
