Description
Two storey house at the quiet outskirts of the busy Beruwela town. Owned by German/Sri Lankan couple, which lives in the 1st floor.
The apartment in the ground floor is designed, finished and equipped according to european standards.
Two bedrooms are available (each around 20sqm) equipped with big double beds, cupboards, dressing tables, fans and airconditioning.
A third room is functioning as fitness room and for storage.
A fully fledged kitchen is available with pantry cupboards, fridge and certain electrical items.
There are two bathrooms, large and smaller, the larger one with hot water.
Further a large living room with leather furniture and a dining area.
Access and view of the separate garden area is possible from both bedrooms.
The big veranda is equipped with tables, chairs and deck chairs.
The apartment comes with Breakfast, other meals can be arranged.
The Indian ocean is just 5 minutes to walk from our doorstep. Local fishing takes place there daily. Everyone is welcome to help pulling out the nets. This help is mostly rewarded with a fish. Just another 5 minutes away from this nearest beach access is a quite beach for relaxation or sea bath. With a Threewheeler (small taxi) in just 10 minutes drive the big hotels can be reached. There so called pool tickets entitles one for towels, deck chairs, pool usage and sea bath.
Round tours can be arranged. Family contact if wanted, is welcome. Our son is 15 years. Myself, Bernhard/ german national, my wife, Roni is Sri Lankan. We are able to assist you in all your travel plans if you wish.

Location description
The beach is in walking distance of 5 minutes. The next town is Beruwela, 2km. The tourist beaches of Moragalla and Kaluwamodera are about 4 km from us.
Tourist attractions
Many ancient temples, the tallest Buddha statue in Sri Lanka is in a temple near by. The Beruwela fish market is worth to see. All kind of fish are sold directly from the boats.
Directions
Basically we offer to pick you up at the airport or any other place. In case you come by car, we are approx. 2 km before the town Beruwela, in a suburb called Marakkalawatte, on the landside of the main road. If you come by train the best to get our is Beruwela station. From there either a Three Wheeler can be hired or you give us a ring.

The apartment can host upto 4 persons. The rates are calculated for that. Neverless if only 2 persons are booking the apartment we deduct 10 Euro per day as we also have some savings then.
