    Festivals and Events
    There is no better place than Altea to get involved in one of the many colourful fiestas which represent a true taste of Spanish culture. Most have an abundance of food and drink available along with street dancing which lasts well into the night. On June 4th Altea plays host to the Feast of San Pedro and La Virgen de Carmen. These fiestas celebrate the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. Be ready to dance the night away whilst indulging in abundant amounts of food and drink with fireworks going off all around you.
    If you happen to be here in the last week of September don't be surprised to see people dressed in battle-ready costumes with guns from the 13th century. They are re-enacting the battle between the Moors and Christians. All of this goes on with bands playing and guns blazing.
    Just get in there and enjoy all that is going on -especially the local food and drink. This is a must on your fiesta schedule as the town becomes a riot of processions and parades.
    Street markets
    Every Tuesday tourists from the surrounding villages arrive and Altea becomes a town bustling with life; even more than normal. It is well worth a visit to the street market in Altea!
    You will also find street markets and flea markets in the surrounding villages.

    Airport: Alicante: 70kms
    Exit Alicante airport and follow signs to AP 7 (blue signs to the motorway).
    Make sure you are heading north to Alicante/Valencia/Barcelona
    After 40 minutes exit at junction 64 for Altea/Calpe. Watch out for speed control cameras!
    Your hostess will be waiting for you at the exit of the motorway, will escort you to Ashanti Bay and settle you in.

    2.The swimming pool is closed when there is no lifeguard present. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children at all times. Inflatable items shall not be used in the swimming pool, other than that which is essential for the safety of young children

    7.The security deposit of EUR 300/- is refunded by transfer within 7 days after check-out, subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
