Last weekend July
A scarecrow festival which spreads through the village offering stalls, traditional games, food, bar, live music, story telling and finale fireworks.
For the past few years, this festival takes place on the last Sunday of July and it is great for a family outing. Villagers compete to build the most imaginative and decorative scarecrow using all kinds of materials with a view to utilise things that would normally be thrown away. The work of these budding artists is on display in a field.
