3 day Rock festival at the end of August
The International Festival of Rock Music "Rock in Rila" is held in Beli Iskar ("White Iskar") village, Samokov district.
The festival takes place at the end of August at the stadium in the pretty village. The beginning of the event is at 6:00 pm, and the admission is free.
Through the years, Rock in Rila has presented to the fans some of Bulgaria's most prominent rock musicians, such as Shturtsite, Signal, BTR and Vasko Krupkata. As early as at its first edition, the forum managed to gather more than 5000 fans from all over the country.
