Ironman 70.3 Triathlon, Dulverton, England

Held annually at Wimbleball Lake, this event, said to be the toughest 70.3 in the world, is a qualifier for the world championship in Florida and attracts well over 1000 entries who will have 10 hours 30 minutes to complete a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and 13.1 mile run.
The event is one of a global series of 70.3 events run under the banner of the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) and offers 50 qualifying slots for the FosterGrant 70.3 World Championships in Clearwater Florida. Coverage of the event can be seen and heard on Channel 4 later in the year. Channel 4 televises the official footage of the UK IRONMAN 70.3 Triathlon approximately one month after the event.
