Description of holiday villa near Uzumlu, Turquoise Coast

This impressive villa offers light and spacious accommodation, arranged over three floors. It has full air conditioning and solar panels give hot water during the summer months.

On the ground floor, the large lounge is comfortably furnished, and is equipped with air conditioning, log burning fire, LCD TV and DVD player. Double patio doors open onto the main terrace.
Kitchen - the fully equipped Kitchen/Dining room has a 5 ring gas hob and electric fan oven, air conditioning unit, microwave, dishwasher and all standard kitchen equipment. Inside the dining area offers seating for up to 6 people. Double patio doors lead out on to the main terrace where there is dining for up to 8 people.
The Sitting Room overlooks the pool area and has double doors opening on to the side terrace and an air conditioning unit.
There is a shower room with shower unit, wc and hand basin.

On the First Floor there are two large en-suite double bedrooms with a shared terrace and seating area.
The Red Room offers unspoiled mountain views through the double patio doors which lead to the terrace. There is a king-size double bed, wardrobe units, large dressing table and air conditioning unit.
The en-suite bathroom has a large shower unit, wc, bath with shower attachment and wash hand basin. Hair dryer. Views over the forest.
The Blue Room is light and spacious and has a large picture window with stunning views over the mountains by day and a wonderful view of the star-studded skies by night. There is a king-size double bed, wardrobe units, dressing table and air conditioning unit. One set of double patio doors lead to a private terrace which overlooks the pool area and forest. A second set of double doors lead to the shared terrace area at the front of the villa.
The en-suite bathroom with views over the forest area has a large shower unit, bath with shower attachment, wc. Wash hand basin. Hair dryer.

On the Second Floor the Pink Room is a large double bedroom with views over the pool and mountains. There is a king-size double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobes and air conditioning unit. Patio door leads to private rooftop terrace.
The en-suite bathroom has a shower, wc, wash hand basin and washing machine.

Outside
Woodlands Villa is situated on a plot of 1000 square meters. It is surrounded by private landscaped gardens and has direct access to adjoining forest land. Basement area comprising double garage and storage areas. Steps lead up to the front entrance. There is a large partly covered terrace area outside the lounge and kitchen which enjoys un spoilt mountain views, and which leads round to a further terrace area overlooking the pool. Steps at each end of the terrace lead down to the pool and garden areas.

The pool is approximately 47m2 with a length of 9.7m with tiled sunbathing areas on all four sides. There are entry steps at the shallow end of the pool which is at a depth of 1.2m for approximately 3m, rising to approximate 1.9m for a further 6.7m. Pool shower.

Location description

With only the forest as its neighbour, Woodlands Villa stands in solitude and is perfect for those seeking a private and peaceful holiday. By day, relax in the sun by the pool or head for the shade on one of the many terraces. Delight in a walk in the adjoining forest, or visit the nearby traditional village of Uzumlu to watch the ladies weave their cloth, and enjoy a glass of local wine in the village wine house.
Fethiye itself is 18km away - it is a thriving tourist town surrounding the bay to which it has given its name. It has a wealth of shops, restaurants and bars as well as a daily fresh fish market and fruit/vegetablemarket in the centreof the town. The Paspatur, known as the Old City, is one of the most colourful shopping and entertainment areas of the town. Here you will find a traditional Turkish Baths (Hamam), many restaurants and bars, and various shops selling souvenirs and local goods. On the outskirts of the town an open market is held on a Tuesday, selling a wide range of local goods including clothes, shoes and linens etc as well as local produce and spices. A fruit and vegetable market is also held on a Friday where locals gather to sell their freshly grown produce.
Calis beach, which is at a distance of approximately 5km from the centre of Fethiye and only some 15-20 minutes drive from Woodlands Villa, is one of the natural breeding grounds of the caretta caretta marine turtle in the area. It is approximately 4km long and is a clean, sandy beach with areas of sun beds and umbrellas. Many restaurants, shops and hotels line the coast and regular dolmus boats and buses run to and from Fethiye and onto Uzumlu.
Approximately 14km from Fethiye lies the famous Oludeniz Lagoon and Belcekiz Beach which can easily be reached by dolmus from the centre of Fethiye. Babadag mountain which rises immediately behind Oludeniz is a recognised area for paragliding and is deemed to be one of the best flying points in the world for this sport.
There are also many other bays and beaches which are reachable either by car or by boat.

Transfer time from Dalaman via taxi or car rental to the villa is approximately an hour. Car rental at additional cost can be organised for you upon request.
