The house is located in the heart of Bali, in the center of a small traditional village. Only at 2 km, through rice fields and a ridge, from the commercial and tourist center of Ubud (5 km by the road). Ubud is the artistic, handicraft, cultural and religious capitale of Bali. From the villa it is easy to visit all the main tourist sites. You can drive to any part of the island in just a few minutes or hours and if you wish you can enjoy our driving, guiding, interpreting service. Guests of the villa have free use of two bicycles. We offer the services and facilities of a grand hotel as well as the flavor of our restaurant... Daily housekeeping, including in the price of the villa, is made by us.

The exceptional location of the villa, in the center of the picturesque village of Bangkiang Sidem, in a totally private garden and villa even though it is located in a Balinese family, allows you to join and to understand the authentic life of the Balinese and to participate in the cultural activities of Bali. We can help you to organize your sightseeing and activity programs and offer you our service of driver/guide/interpreter. You can eat at our guest-restaurant and choose our services of : shuttles to and from Ubud, taxi, laundry, baby-sitting, internet, driver/guide/interpreter... From March 2010, the villa will get its swimming pool !

Other activities

Cultural Balinese activities, Cooking, painting and carving lessons at the guesthouse... The guests of the villa have the free use of 2 bicycles. Cultural entertainment every night in Ubud.

Directions

The simpler is that we go to pick you up at Denpasar airport but if you prefer to come by yourself : at Denpasar airport take the road to Ubud, going through Batubulan and Sayan (road in direction of Payangan). At Kedewatan, turn right in the direction of Ubud, then, at Lungsiakan, turn in the second road on the left in direction of Payogan and Taro. After nearly 2 km, in Jalan Raya Sebali, turn right in Bangkiang Sidem. Villa Pariliana is the first house on the left.
