Description of holiday villa Tuscany

Villa Maura is the ideal place to spend quiet yet active holidays. You can choose to laze all day by the pool and let the time pass or fulfill your day with so many different activities, inside and outside Villa Maura! In the early morning you can tale a little walk to the little country shops or go to the big shops or market in Fucecchio (5 kms) with your car, then visit one or (more!) tourist attraction in Tuscany (Lucca, Siena, Vinci, Montecatini Terme, Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, the golden beach of Versilia or take your kids to Pinocchio's homeland), come back to enjoy a swim in the pool, relax in the garden sipping an aperitivo while the tomato sauce boils in the kitchen, then have a relaxing dinner in your own garden watching the sunset.

While The villa has a direct access to the pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a patio with BBQ, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double plus one and one twin/triple bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

Villa Maura is situated in a peaceful and panoramic location, immersed in the green hills of the Parco delle Cerbaie and in the Padule di Fucecchio (unique area where even storks come to nest). It is located in the heart of Tuscany, with the art cities of Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Firenze within easy reach and many lesser know treasures still to be explored nearby.

The beautiful swimming pool, situated in our own characteristic olive grove, is shared with LA SCUOLA apartments.
The villa has modern forniture. Private indoor parking. In Fucecchio and the immediate surroundings one can find typical restaurants, pizzerie, wineries, characteristic shops, shopping centres, sports grounds (tennis, golf, horse-back riding facilities).

Several car hire companies are available at Pisa Airport.
