Description of holiday villa in Sovinjak, Istria

The villa is located on the edge of the hilltop village of Sovinjak, 300 meters above see level. Built into the hillside, the villa taking advantage of the 180 degree views over the rolling hills and hilltop towns.

The Villa was built in 2007, is about 210 m2 and is fully equipped for 8 persons. The Ground floor has a living room with open fireplace, kitchen/dining room and one bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bathroom (with shower). The First floor is divided into two sections. One side has the master bedroom with double bed and private ensuite bathroom (with shower and bathtub). From the Master bedroom are French windows leading to the first floor terrace. Across the hallway are two further bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded room both of which share a private bathroom with shower facilities.

The living room has a flat screen TV and satellite. The kitchen area includes a refrigerator, freezer, stove and dishwasher. There is a Washing machine with dryer in the Utility room.
Outdoor is a private saltwater swimming pool (8X4 meter), terrace furniture (including table and chairs and relaxing armchairs) as well as sun loungers by the pool.

The house is fully heated with under floor heating on the ground floor and central heating in all the bathrooms and bedrooms.
All bathrooms are fitted with Italian ceramics and quality furniture.
The company who designed and built the house has, for the last two years, been awarded “Best Property in Croatia”

Location description

Sovinjac is located right between the cosy east coast and the marvellous west coast. Close to you will find selections of Istrias best restaurants, with their truffle specialities. The valley is one of the best truffle and wine districts of Croatia. Within 20 minutes of driving, you will also find the culture villages of Motovun (film festival) and Groznjan (art and ceramic). The old aristocratic city of Opatija is also within 45 minutes of driving from the villa.
