Description of holiday villa in Skopelos, Northern Sporades Islands

Villa Melitini sits near the top of the hillside in the Raches area of the island, with stunning views over Skopelos harbour and out to the Aegean sea as well as to the opposite hillside with its monasteries and churches.

Steps from the parking area lead down to the main entrance of this high quality villa, with a brick BBQ opposite. From the entrance hall, a doorway to the left leads to a large bedroom with a double bed and two sets of French windows leading out to the wooden decked terrace with wonderful views over the harbour. This bedroom has a en suite shower room complete with power shower, spa jets and toilet.

The doorway to the right of the hallway leads to a huge open plan living room with large, modern kitchen and a glass dining table and chairs to seat six. The living room is very spacious and airy, with comfortable sofas facing two sets of French windows with Juliet balcony overlooking the harbour. A third set of French windows lead out to the wooden decked terrace with its outdoor furnishings and remarkable sea views.
There is also a feature stone fireplace, air conditioning and a 42' TV complete with limited channels and DVD player as well as a great sound system. The modern kitchen is very large and comes extremely well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and a large American style refrigerator with ice and cold water dispenser.

From the living room a staircase is leading down to another 2 bedrooms. At the end of the staircase a small hall way will take you to the right where you will find a very large bedroom with en suite shower room and toilet. A double king size bed and wall to wall wardrobes as well as two French windows leading to the pool area complete the picture.
To the left of the hallway you will see another bedroom with two single beds and a corner office with PC, printer and Internet connection. Two French windows lead out to the pool area. Going back to the hallway and to the right you will find a enormous bathroom with shower, toilet, 2 washbasins, jacuzzi and walk in wardrobe.

A steep and narrow driveway leads down from the access road to the small parking area which sits above the villa. Steps from there lead down to the main entrance door ,with built in BBQ opposite ,and steps to either side of the house lead to the many terraces around the front of the villa ,designed to take full advantage of the stunning views. Steps to the left of the house lead to the upper wooden decked terrace which is furnished and can be also accessed from either the living room or upper level bedroom. A few more steps lead to a smaller, more private area which has cushioned seating and a shady pergola before carrying on down to the large lower terrace.

Steps to the right of the villa lead straight down to the very spacious terrace which is mainly tiled but also has a fantastic wooden decked area to the right of the pool with comfortable sofas and sunloungers. On this terrace is also a large shaded dinning table that can seat six to eight people together with a further portable double BBQ conveniently placed for al fresco meals around the pool. The lovely swimming pool purposely sits at the front and bottom of the property to take full advantage of the views over the harbour and the Aegean sea. On another terrace to the left of the pool sits on his own a jacuzzi that can accommodate up to 4 people with its heated crystal clear water.
