The villa, dating in part from c.12C to 15C, has been beautifully restored, retaining its original features with stone floors and stairs, wooden ceilings and a magnificent stone vaulted dining room which can seat 20 if desired. The expansive terrace which overlooks olive groves below, boasts views of some of the best sunsets seen anywhere in the worold.
The house is a family home in the autumn and winter and boasts a piano and an incredible array of books for all to enjoy - from the complete works of Freud, Marx and the Waverley novels to classical Latin and Greek texts, from a large collection of Australian, American and British novels and poetry to thrillers of every hue.
The villa sits on the edge of a medieval village - the whole area being protected as 'an area of outstanding natural beauty'.

Some of the most incredible early Renaissance art and architecture can be found within 15 to 40 minutes from the house (Spoleto, Spello, Assisi, Montefalco, Perugia), and mountain hikes through amazing wild hills and valleys commence from the house itself or 20 minutes drive away (in the Valnerina).
Famous Italian wineries are within 30-60 minutes drive (Antinori, Colli Amerini, Orvieto).
