40 minutes from Faro airport. A car is essential. We can recommend a car hire company based at Faro airport. The property is a 5 minute drive from the main Algarve motorway, so most resorts are within a half hours drive away. Spain can be reached in 1 hour's drive.

10 minutes drive through beautiful countryside to the historic town of Silves with it's cathedral and Moorish castle. 10 minutes drive to Portimao which is excellent for shopping and finding bargains and souvenirs. 20 minutes drive to the town of Monchique nestled in the mountains and Caldas De Monchique which is famed for it's fonts and natural spring water.
