Follow the narrow winding footpath from the square and you will reach the welcoming doors of Mansion Kyani. The Mansion is situated on a hill top overlooking the vineyards and quant village of Megalochori, with the sparkling Aegean in the distance.
The mansion affords two living areas, which are connected by an exterior stone flight of stairs.

On the ground floor a barn-door leads you into a compact kitchenette. An archway leads you into the magnificent master bedroom with domed ceiling. The extravagant en-suite bathroom features a large bath and separate shower. A separate entrance with original wooden doors lead into the comfortable second bedroom which also features an en-suite comfortable second bathroom.

In the large courtyard of the ground floor the guests can relax on the comfortable couches or swim in the extravagant volcanic swimming pool.

The first floor of this Mansion offers large terraces with panoramic views of the surrounding area which are perfect for alfresco dining in the stylish outdoors furniture.
The original wooden floors have been restored and the many windows allows for a bright and airy feel to the interior. The comfortable double bedroom boasts views overlooking the vineyards to one side and the Aegean to the other. A dressing room leads into the spacious bathroom and separate restroom. The cleverly designed open-plan kitchenette and living area allows for casual entertaining. This Villa can accommodate up to 6 guests. Mansion Kyani provides a perfect base for those wanting to experience the many rhythms of the island.

Location description

Regarding the location of Megalochori we could say that is a lovely village located in the centre of Santorini, with white painted houses, beautiful churches, narrow cobble streets and a quaint village atmosphere surrounded by vineyards. It provides a perfect base from where to explore the island of Santorini. To get to the best beaches of the island (Perivolos, Vlyhada, Red Beach) is just a 10 minutes’ drive. At the same distance is the capital (Fira). The village itself has 3 excellent restaurants (one owned by our company called RAKI), a local bakery & a mini-market. You can also enjoy a visit to the local winery Gavalas for wine tasting (2 minutes distance from the villa). Closing I would say that Megalochori is a true reflection of the local Santorini experience!
