Location description
The Béarn area is probably the best kept secret in France.Fantastic climate throughout the year, very mild winters, no hot summers, rainfall throughout the year provides a lush rolling countryside. Skiing in the Pyrenees in the morning, Biarritz and its beaches in the afternoon is very well possible since alpine skiing is within an hour's drive and so is the Atlantic Ocean. Rafting, bathing and angling activities possible in the mountain river Gave d'Oloron at 10 km distance.
