Description of holiday villa in Plaka, Crete and surrounds
Villa Alsoneiro is a comfortable and spacious Villa offering unforgettable views across Souda Bay and the surrounding Cretan Countryside. The Villa is located just a 5 min walk to the local Tavernas and 20mins to the nearest sandy beach. The Villa sleeps 6 & is fully air-conditioned throughout.
The Villa offers various comfortable areas to relax. The patio is a suntrap during the day and an ideal area to relax on the loungers. The large porch area overlooks the pool and provides a table with seating area for up to 6. An ideal place for Breakfast or Lunch.
The pool is lit at night and provides a stunning effect until the lights go out at around midnight. The upstairs balcony offers an unforgettable panoramic view of the bay both during the day and at night when the bay comes alive with lights across the water.
Airconditioning is provided through out and can double up as heating during the winter months making Villa Alsoneiro an ideal location for a winter stay.
The Villa has Twin Room, Double Room and Double Sofa Bed in the Living Room downstairs which has its own toilet/shower room/electric razor point. Upstairs a spacious double shower room/toilet is off the main landing and has a electic/razor point
Clean and fully equipped Kitchen / Dining Area
The Villa offers a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, iron/board, juicer, full size cooker, fridge freezer and seating area for 6. A high chair is available on request. The kitchen overlooks the porch area, ideal for Breakfast. Leading from the Kitchen is the downstairs shower room.
Living Room
The Comfortable Lounge Area has Satellite, DVD & TV, it is fully airconditioned with double doors to the patio area. The TV has points for a games station (not provided). A selection of fictional books and guide books are provided along with DVD/disney movies. The Sofa doubles as a comfortable sofabed. Towards the stairs is a downstairs toilet/shower room.
Double Bedded Room
The double bedded room features a dressing table, full length mirror and two double wardrobes with plenty of hangers for all your clothes.
Double doors open onto the balcony where a bistro table and chairs provides a lovely setting for morning coffee or a cold drink as the sun goes down. Bedside tables and occasional chairs ensure the double room provides you with every comfort.
A Hairdrier is provided & a security safe.
The Double room has an amazing view from the balcony and has dual aspects to the front and side of the Villa. Its hard to tear yourself away from the View!
Twin Bedded Room
The spacious Twin Bedded Room opens on to the Double Balcony. The room has a TV which can support a games station (not supplied). A long mirror and adequate electric points close to Vanity Mirror.

Location description
The area around the villa is famous for its walking tours and trips to Samaria Gorge would be a must for the enthusiast. Two water parks are located on the island with the nearest being 30mins drive. Chania harbour is a lovely area to explore with a variety of local shops and curios stalls. The Market in Chania hosts a variety of local produce including fish, meats and local herbs and spices. Lake Koudos is a short drive away & provides an alternative setting to the seaside. The beach of Almerida is an ideal spot for sunworshipers and families as its shallow waters provide a safe area to paddle, build sand castles & have fun beside the sea. Sunbeds are available on the beach (a small cost is involved) and as the tavernas are within a few steps, Almerida is an ideal spot to enjoy a cold beer or glass of retsina at lunchtime.
