'Fantastic villa'
What a fantastic villa! Everything you could wish for and more. Large, modern, spacious, airy villa. The villa is ideally situated for walking into Pissouri bay where there are tavernas and mini supermarkets and of course the beach. The villa's swimming pool is large and great for all ages and kept immaculately clean. All in all a great place to stay and Pete and Denise are incredibly helpful too.
Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers and families with young children.
Villa Pheakon is a recently built luxury villa located on the south coast of Cyprus and just a few minutes walk from the un-spoilt blue flag beach of Pissouri Bay. Here you can find a good selection of tavernas and mini markets.
The Villa has been constructed in traditional Greek Island Style, offering spacious accommodation throughout, private swimming pool, private parking, high degree of privacy and wonderful views towards the Bay. The garden has large areas for sunbathing on the terraces finished in local stone. The garden has been planted with a variety of colourful plants/shrubs and fruit trees, and has a stylish built in BBQ.
Villa Pheakon is located in the ideal location for that relaxing holiday or for those amongst you that like to play a round of golf there are two championship courses less than 15 minutes drive away.
Free dedicated Wi-Fi internet access is now installed at the villa.
Internet 'free to air' TV with UK TV is now available.

Location description
The Villa is situated just a few minutes walk from the unspoilt blue flag beach at Pissouri Bay with its many water sports. Pissouri Bay is a tranquil spot free of mass tourism. It is situated in a beautiful landscape and is a perfect starting point for trips (Aphodite Cliffs, Curion Amphitheater, Troodos Mountains, Limassol and Paphos, etc.) and hikes. Here you will find a good selection of tavernas and mini markets, all within a walking distance from the villa. Pissouri Village, about a five-minute drive from the beach, is set up on the hill commanding stunning 360-degree views. It is a traditional, quaint Greek village comprising a cluster of tranquil stone buildings. There are many small, personal tavernas, a few shops, and a Church. The local people are extremely friendly and helpful. At night, there is a relaxed and calm atmosphere, away from crowds and nightclubs. Eating out is relatively inexpensive and the local wines are delicious. In the summer months there are weekly Cypriot nights in both Pissouri Bay and Pissouri Village.
Pissouri offer's a variety of holiday options. It is an ideal place to relax and unwind enjoying the pleasures of the beach and surrounding countryside. About 3 miles west of Pissouri is Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite's Rock), the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, a beautiful stretch of coastline with a spectacular rocky outcrop.
The sports minded visitor has not been overlooked with windsurfing, water skiing and Jet Ski’s available in the Bay.

APHRODITE HILLS GOLF CLUB – 10 minutes drive west
Set on top of high plateaus overlooking the Mediterranean, the birthplace of Goddess Aphrodite – Petra tou Romiou. The course length is 6.299 meters.
SECRET VALLEY GOLF CLUB – 10 minutes drive west
Set in the valley to the West of Aphrodite Hills. Why not play 36 holes in one day? – This course plays to a par 72, measures 6120 meters.

During the summer months there are weekly Cypriot nights, well worth seeing.

Just a short trip this time over Halloween – today is very nice and warm but had a storm on our first evening. We swam in the pool which was lovely especially as they had a frost at home! Excellent villa, we had a BBQ and mostly sat around the pool.

We have been coming to Pissouri Bay for 10 years and have stayed in many villas on Vinelands and Katikotes. This was our first time staying at Odysseus Bay. The villa is superbly decorated and equipped – very homely. We have spent a very relaxing week here – mostly lazing around the pool. We arrived, after a delayed flight at 2345. The welcome pack in the fridge was much appreciated – bacon and egg butties at midnight on the patio with the wine! A very relaxing week and now leaving the glorious Cyprus sunshine – until next year.
