Description
Our villa is in a quiet road within easy walking distance of the beach (about 10 minutes walk or 3 minutes drive). The nearest supermarket is just 3 minutes walk and there are bars and restaurants all within 5 minutes stroll.
A short drive away are many medeival villages and most of these now have fine restaurants serving regional specialties at excellent prices.
The garden is enclosed and safe for children and we have a private pool with toys and noodles for guests use. Inside the villa we have air-conditioning in all bedrooms and Internet, DVD and satellite TV are all provided for your enjoyment.

Location description
We bought this property because of the unspoilt coastline and great beaches in the area. It is popular with Barcelonians many of whom have weekend homes along the coast and has a much less commercial feel than many other parts of Spain. Ease of access was also important and there are many flights a day to Girona, Barcelona and it can be driven to from Calais in under 12 hours.
There are some excellent golf courses withing 10 minutes drive of the villa at Pals, Emporda, andabout 30 minutes away is the PGA Catlunya.
Other activities
Adventure park with zip wires and monkey walks through the trees.
Segway tours, Scuba diving, water skiing and do-nuts are available on the beach.
Local events
Regular fiestas through the year. Markets weekly in Pals, Torroella de Montgri and Estartit.
Tourist attractions
Isles de Medes for scuba diving and glass bottom boat tours. Salvador Dali museum at Figueres is well worth a visit.
Directions
Ryanair flies to Girona from many regional UK airports.
Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch and BA fly from all around the UK to Barcelona.
Driving through France from Calais is approx 750 miles and can be done in about 11 hours. (Tolls via Orleans and Clermont Ferrand are approx 55 each way).
