Location description

Of course most people visit Orlando to enjoy the theme parks but there is much more to see. Just over an hour away is the Atlantic coast and Kennedy Space Centre and in the opposite direction you can be sitting under a palm tree on the gulf coast in 1 1/2hr.

Florida has wonderful state parks that are cheap to enter and many offer canoe rental or boat trips on the beautiful rivers and lakes. Winter visitors can see the Manatee that return to the warm springs or swim with them at Crystal River. Nature watchers will love spotting herons, cranes, egrets and osprey (from the pool!!)
