Description of holiday villa in Nadur, Gozo

Dar ix-Xemx is very close to unspoilt picturesque bays, namely Ramla Bay, San Blas Bay, Dahlet Qorrot Bay. With its beautiful countryside Nadur offers some of the best country walk-routes on the island. The village is full of restaurants and shops within walking distance from the farmhouse. Of course you can find everything you may need for your daily needs such as two banks (HSBC and BOV), a post office, a pharmacy, doctor's clinics, various mini-markets and other utility shops.

The villa has 5 double bedrooms (Two with double beds and three with twin beds), all include a wardrobe, dressing chest of drawers with mirror, bedside table and fans. Three bedrooms are with en-suite shower. A baby cot is also provided. There are four terraces, two at the front and two at the back, the latter overlooking the pool, with panoramic country and sea views.

This property is equipped with a beautiful, good sized swimming pool, 25 feet x 12 feet. The pool deck is quite spacious. It is well equipped with a BBQ area, garden furniture, deck chairs and umbrellas. Further down from the pool deck the property a lovely garden with fruit and palm trees.

Location description

Gozo is only 9 miles by 5 miles so getting around is very easy. Hiring a car is recommended as it is easier to see Gozo that way. The closest beach from the villa is the popular Ramla beach. The warm red sands and the shallow cooling waters of the beach are popular with locals and tourists alike. The beach is about 5 minutes away from the villa. For bars and restaurants you can walk to the nearby village square or go for a bigger choice in Mgarr harbour and various other seaside spots dotted around the island, all within a 10 to 15 minute drive.

Directions

Gozo is only a pleasant 25 minute ferry trip from the harbour in Malta. You can fly with various airlines including Air Malta, Easy Jet, Ryan Air etc. We can organise taxi transfers from the airport to the accommodation. The whole journey will take no more than 90 minutes.
