Cortijo Los Arrendajos offers visitors the chance to experience life in real Spain... it is a new villa but built in a traditional spanish style so that it provides all modern conveniences but in a traditional setting.
The tiled floors and wooden ceilings set the tone for the house which is very comfortably furnished and exceptionally well equipped.The shutters, blinds and tiles all keep the house nice and cool in the summer.
There are 3 double bedrooms so the house sleeps 6 visitors very easily but an extra 2 camp beds can be provided for a small extra charge.
The living room has plenty of seating to allow guests to stretch out and relax, watch satellite TV, listen to CDs, watch DVDs or just read quietly if that's what the holiday requires!
The kitchen has just about everything....fridge, freezer, oven and hob, microwave,washing machine, electric kettle, in fact all that the owners can think of to make your holiday (and theirs!) as easy as possible.
Outside, the front of the property faces south so the pool is in the sun all day long but if it does get too hot the covered porch provides welcome shade and a great place to get of the sun at meal times.
There is plenty of outdoor furniture..loungers, recliners, tables and chairs and of course the barbecue is always very well used.

Location description

The pool at the house is a great facility for visitors but the nearest town, Montefrio, is known throughout Spain for its dramatic setting and has a wealth of bars and restaurants.The countryside close to the villa is breathtaking but for those who seek a bit of a city buzz Granada has a lovely cafe-culture and is a city of great historical interest with the jewel in its crown being the Moorish Alhambra Palace.

The fiestas in Spain are great tradition and Montefrio does its bit by never missing an opportunity for a parade.
