Our Villa is self contained on both levels and is particularly ideal for two families, couples or groups holidaying together but who are also able to enjoy their own space and privacy.

Ground floor
Downstairs the entrance is through a conservatory which leads into a large kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and a dining table and chairs, TV, and a lounge area. On the same level is a bathroom with shower and wc, one double bedroom and one twin.

First floor
Upstairs is a second large kitchen with fabulous views, electric oven and grill, fridge/freezer and dining table with 6 chairs. There is a large comfortable lounge with TV, DVD & CD/Radio. Doors with access to terrace overlooking the vineyards, one double and one twin bedroom, one opening onto the terrace, plus bathroom with shower and basin, separate wc with basin.

The cost of flights vary according to the day of the week. To accommodate this, we are able to offer alternative start and finish dates to your holiday subject to availability.

A 25% deposit is payable to secure dates. Balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date together with £300, Damage Deposit, which will be refunded by post, minus any breakage charges. Or in full on completion of a satisfactory inventory, following your departure.

All linen and towels are supplied.

Location description

The House is situated in the village of Marseillette, which has a cafe, post office, hotel & restaurant. As you can imagine in this part of France eating and relaxing is done in the shade of trees or umbrellas, and this property with its large patios and terraces is ideal for this.

There are weekly markets in the villages around Marseillette. A very short walk from the house is the UNESCO protected Canal du Midi, with its many locks and miles of towpaths to wander, under the shade of the plane trees which line its banks. Local activities include riding stables, tennis courts and hiking or cycling routes. Lakes Jouarre and Cavayère have supervised swimming and hire of sailboards and kayaks.

The medieval city of Carcassonne is about fifteen minutes by car, offering shops, restaurants, a golf course and an abundance of entertainment. Not forgetting, most famously the medieval walled city and Cathare Châteaux.

The Mediterranean beaches of Gruissan, Leucates and Narbonne are about forty minutes by car and just over an hour to Perpignan and the Spanish border. The nearest ski resorts are approximately an hour and a half to Andorra and the Pyrenees mountains. The surrounding area is a varied and beautiful place to visit with its many mountains, valleys, gorges, lakes and historical villages.
