This is an exceptional property with superb views of both sea and countryside. It is modern and well equipped and stands in its own spacious garden and has a large pool. The property has 5 Bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people.

On the main level there is a large living room with dining area and well equipped kitchen.

There are also 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and a shower room.

There is a TV / sitting room which is ideal for children. Leading off the lounge is a large terrace with lovely views of the sea and surrounding hills. There are stairs leading to the garden, BBQ and pool area.

Downstairs on the garden level are another 2 twin bedded rooms; 1 double room with en-suite, and another large shower room.

There is a bar room which has doors leading out to the garden. The bar room is equipped with a small fridge and plenty of plastic glasses for use around the pool area. Beyond the bar room is a garage area complete with an additional fridge, washing machine and pool equipment.

Outside the bar room is a very large patio area with settees, chairs and coffee table. The large pool is set in lovely mature gardens with a patio and sunbathing area. There is also a large covered patio with barbecue and eating area.

There is an outside toilet for use when using the garden and pool.

Location description

The lovely Spanish seaside town of L 'Escala is situated on the Mediterranean in the bay of Roses; it's beautiful beaches make it an ideal place for family holidays.

It is both a working town and a tourist resort - the old town is very traditional with it's maze of narrow streets filled with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

There are plenty of nearby places to visit; Figueres with the Museum of the famous artist Salvador Dali, the cultural city of Girona, La Bisbal which is famous for it's ceramics, the lovely moated medieval village of Peratallada and the fantastic city of Barcelona 120km away.

Empuries boasts the extensive Greco Roman ruins and the small village of St. Marti is just wonderful with it's plaza of restaurants and pretty church. L'Escala offers plenty of activities and water sports to suit all ages.

Other activities

Windsurfing is a speciality in the Bay of Roses. Scuba diving is available in the clear blue waters of Montgo and nearby Estartit. There is also quad bike hire available in the town.
