The Vicarage was the bishop house between the 1200 and 1700. It's part of the antique castle of the village at the edge of the village. Built in mellow stone set in an area that is a patchwork of small medieaval villages, in the past were against one of the other, been Ghibellines or Guelphs.

The property can accommodate 7 people.very comfortably - it has been restored during the last five years and is now available for rent weekly or for a longer period. On arrival you can still feel as the time had never passed away. You can still see and live as the real Tuscan people did and still do, in a lovely place with wonderful views, pure air and spring water.

The Vicarage maintains its old characteristic but offers also all the modern appliances and amenities of modern life: satellite tv, dvd, stereo, cd player, wi-fi, washing machine, dishwasher and jacuzzi.

You can find here 6 bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen, dining-room, two sittingrooms a courtyard/garden in the back with garden furniture, bbq and jacuzzi.

Two of the bedrooms have a queen size bed (150 cm) one has a double bed (140 cm). One has two single beds and the two children rooms have a single bed, toys and many other amenities.

The Vicarage is set in the perfect location if you are looking for a rest, being close to the most important cities of arts in Tuscany like Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, 5 terre...and to the Versilia's beaches and ski resort Abetone the most famous in the centre of Italy.

Location description

The property set in the castle of a small village up to the hills between Lucca and Florence area, in an area called Pesciatina's switzerland. Easy to reach and will be easy to visit any of the beautiful sides of Tuscany region, setting here.

A car is reccommended - public transportation has limited time table and you can't tour perfectly Tuscany.

The low costs airport closer are Pisa, Florence and Bologna. You can reach anyway in few hours the properties coming form Rome or Milan, please let me know and I will suggest the best solution.
