Stunning Villa Crystal is a spacious 200 square metre one bedroom private villa, with a large infinity edge swimming pool located on hillside land with stunning panoramic ocean views of the Gulf of Thailand and surrounding islands.
Complimentary automatic 4 x 4 vehicle is included with your villa rental.
Complimentary pick up and return journey from airport/ferry port/hotel to Villa Crystal and return journey at the end of your stay.
The villa is situated on the 22 acre area of ocean view hillside land known as Sitara Retreat, which provides 24 hour security. The villa boasts a spectacular 180 degree panoramic view of the shimmering turquoise ocean, and uniquely perched amongst, around and against the ancient granite boulders, which are a unique feature throughout the villa.
Sitara is an exclusive private residency, surrounded by nature, and with outstanding natural beauty. The villa is in the unspoiled south of the island which largely remains unaffected by over-development that unfortunately blights the north.
Villa Crystal has a spacious open plan living area with high elevated ceiling, and stunning 180 degree beautiful ocean view, which can also be enjoyed from the three balconies that form part of this living area. The room is blessed with natural light and consists of a large L-shaped luxury sofa, coffee table and large flat screen and SMART TV with Netflix, YouTube etc. There is also the dining with a beautiful circular oak table and chairs, with fabulous ocean views.
The Kitchen consists of a fully-equipped western-style fitted kitchen, complete with breakfast bar. Gas barbecue by the poolside.
There is a washing maching with drying area on the lower section.
Outside is a large, private, beautiful infinity edge swimming pool and decking with sun beds and stunning ocean views unrivaled anywhere else on the island. Here is a gas barbecue to cook freshly caught fish or meat from the local market, together with patio table and chairs, where you can enjoy a romantic dinner with the backdrop of the twinkling lights of the many fishing boats out at sea.
Partially open shower room, complete with WC and washbasin, is uniquely designed around a gigantic granite rock, which provides an individual feature.
Bedroom en-suite has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes, dressing table, comfortable sofa bed, air conditioning and fan. From the bedroom, sliding doors lead you out onto the balcony, with its own small garden, where you can sit, relax and enjoy the tranquil tropical setting. En-suite bathroom consists of bath tub, separate walk-in shower, vanity unit and WC, and has been created using the classic touch and feel of Terrazzo to give a cool and sophisticated look.
The unique feature of the bedroom and en-suite is the stunning look and imaginative display of the beautifully-formed rock formation.
The villa is installed with free fibre optic wifi.
Complimentary pick-up for guests from the airport or ferry terminal to Villa Crystal and return journey at the end of the visit (one in each direction).
Please note that no additional guests other than those who have booked to stay at the villa, are permitted to stay overnight.
All towels and linen provided. The villa is cleaned every 3 days, with change of clean bed linen and towels also every 3 days.
The guests have sole occupancy of the Villa. We live close by and are available for any information or assistance.
The southern part of the island where Villa Crystal is located still has the feel on Koh Samui of over 20 years ago, unlike the north of the island which can be over-crowded and busy. The Villa is found in the quieter part of the island, and makes driving a more pleasurable experience.
The use of a car or moped is the easiest way to get around. The Villa is located in the quieter part of Koh Samui, unlike the busy north of the island. Villa Crystal has outstanding ocean views and where you have this, you have a hill to climb. The villa is positioned in an outstandingly beautiful location, and is a 250 mtr length of steep hill from the entrance at Sitara Retreat. We therefore strongly recommend the use of the complimentary four wheel drive; or if you are both very confident riders, two mopeds, which we can provide for you in your rental price, and have waiting at the villa on your arrival. It is a condition of Sitara Retreat that if you drive a car it needs to be a four wheel drive. Once you have booked we can arrange the complimentary 4 wheel drive vehicle for your use during your stay at Villa Crystal.
All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred.
It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand.
Should you not wish to use the car or moped at any time, taxis can pick you up at the entrance of Sitara, which is a 4 or 5 minute walk down the hill.

Location description
Within 5-10 minute drive from the Villa you have lovely restaurants serving both delicious Thai and European food, small mini-marts for your daily needs, health massage studios and small garden bars.
Also close by is Centara Villas Resort, Samui Orchid and ShaSha Resort and Residences which open their doors to non residents and have many splendid facilities to enjoy, including a number of restaurants and bars.
Five minutes away by motorbike or car you have the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market. Here you will also find small individual shops, couple of mini supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, Chinese temple and a doctors surgery running parallel with the beautiful coastline.
The seaside town of Lamai, the second largest on the island and superior to congested Chaweng, is just 12 minutes away by motorbike or car. Here you can fine dine in one of the lovely beachside restaurants, have a drink in one of the local bars, shop or stroll around this seaside town.

Directions
Bangkok Airways has numerous daily flights connecting Bangkok with Samui. In addition, they have daily flights servicing the Phuket-Samui route.
Visitors can also travel to Koh Samui by bus from Bangkok via ferry.
Bangkok-Koh Samui buses depart from Bangkoks Southern Bus Terminal at 19.30 daily. Travelling time is 13 hours.
Songserm Rungrueang Co.Ltd. operate bus services from Bangkok to Koh Samui daily at 5 pm. The bus arrives at Koh Samui at 11 am on the next day.
Visitors can take a train from Bangkok to Surat Thani Railway Station, then take a connecting bus to Koh Samui via the Ferry
Surat Thani can be most conveniently reached by car from Bangkok by taking Highway No. 4 to Chumphon via Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan, and thence onto Highway No. 41 and Highway No. 401.

Song Tiew
Trucks (or tutes) with bench seats and covered area on the back for people to sit, the most common form of public transport on the island and cheaper than taxis. They only travel set routes covering most of the island.
