    Location description

    Located on the southwestern coastline of Koh Samui in Lamai, the villa has a perfect environment that really suits a retreat like holiday. The location at Lamai is just 2km from the beach, and a 10-minute drive to Namuang with Chaweng a 15-minute drive away. Namuang is famous for its tropical beauty and a tall waterfall that is one of the islands most visited attractions.

    Lamai Beach is Samui's second-largest resort area after Chaweng. It is quieter and less bustling than its big sister, but still with plenty of accommodation, dining and shopping options, and some great spas and tourist sites to explore.

    The general atmosphere is laid back and Lamai has slightly older, and by extention cheaper tourist facilities than Chaweng, although there is some indication that the area is slowly being rejuvenated. Along with the rest of Samui, there is a steady trend away from the 'cheap and cheerful' toward smarter, high-end accommodation and dining facilities and new resorts in Lamai

    Koh Samui, commonly referred to as Samui by locals, is an island located close to the mainland town of Surat Thani. Samui is Thailand's 2nd largest island after Phuket. It boasts an area of approximately 225 km2 and a population of 63,000. 1.5 million tourists visit annually. Large enough so as to give you lots of things to explore during your stay, but small enough to provide a homey atmosphere, Koh Samui and the welcoming manner of the local population is sure to charm you from your very first visit.

    How to get there
    It is very easy to get to Koh Samui. You can either fly directly from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand or any number of major Asian cities or you can take the ferry over from the city of Surat Thani or other neighboring islands. You are sure to fall in love with the island upon your arrival. If arriving by plane, Samui Airport will certainly make a great first impression: the beauty of the island is well represented through the terminal's manicured lawns, tropical flowers and lush greenery.

    To get around on Samui you can either rent a car (it will be waiting for you at the villa) or you can simply take taxis – the choice is yours.
