Description of holiday villa in La Herradura, Andalucia
This once was the designer home of renowned architect Prieto Moreno and his family before being sold: 500mē of luxury on two independent storeys. Access to the property is made through a nazari-style patio, beautifully decorated with a fountain, water ditches, cypresses and pergolas (north-orientated to cool the summer months). The hall entrance leads to a huge lounge with a fireplace and french doors opening to a long balcony (roofed to provide some shade); there are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on this level. There is also a dining room in a corner of the lounge, with large picture windows and a fabulous independent kitchen with views down to the sea from its large window above part of the lounge; next to it is a self-contained apartment with private entrance with access to the kitchen. Back to the entrance hall are the stairs that will take us to the lower level. There are another 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and another extra-large lounge (with a fire) directly leading to the garden and its infinity pool: definitely the best place to enjoy the sea views. Furniture is basic, although the charm of the property has a lot to do with the incredible space offered by every single room of the property. This privileged plot of approx. 2.000mē is situated only 5 minutes away from the beach of La Herradura and the Marina Del Este. Punta de la Mona is undoubtedly one of the most desired spots all along the Mediterranean coast of Spain.
