Located away from all the noise, it is 150 meters to a secluded beach, short walks to half a dozen Thai restaurants, several Mini Marts, a couple of Massage shops, Tiger zoo, Aquarium, and the Butterfly Garden.
Several large resorts all within 10 minutes walk from the villa open their doors to non residents to enjoy their facilities.

Local attractionsWithin 5-10 minutes walk from the Villa you have over half a dozen restaurants serving Thai and western food, 3 mini-marts for your daily needs, several laundry shops, 2 massage shops to help ease that aching body. Also a couple of small bars to quench that thirst with an ice cold beer or two, for entertainment you have the tiger zoo, aquarium and butterfly garden. Slightly further a field watch the locals with the monkeys that collect the coconuts from the trees you will be amazed.
Also close by is Centara Villas Resort and Samui Orchid which opens its doors to non residents and have many facilities to enjoy, including numerous restaurants and bars go on spoil yourself.
5 minutes away by motorbike or car you have the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market, also the home of Baan Hua Thanon seafood restaurant a well recommended eatery with a fantastic menu, a bit slow but well worth the wait.
The seaside town of Lamai the second largest on the island and far superior in every way to the polluted Chaweng is just 10 minutes away by motorbike or car where you can party until dawn, fine dine in one of the many beach side restaurants, shop until you drop or just relax in one of the many watering holes Lamai has to offer and watch the world go by.
Just remember nowhere on the island is more than 35 minutes away, private car hire with a driver, taxis, motor bike taxis and the local public transport which run around the ring road called song taews or simply hire a motorbike or car.

Directions
Visitors can also get to Ko Samui by bus from Bangkok via ferry Bangkok-Ko Samui buses depart from Bangkok’s Southern Bus Terminal at 19.30 daily. Traveling time is 13 hours.
Songserm Rungrueang Co., Ltd. operates bus services from Bangkok to Ko Samui daily at 5 p.m. The bus arrive at Ko Samui at 11 a.m. on the next day.
Plane
Bangkok Airways has numerous daily flights connecting Bangkok with Samui. In addition, they have daily flights servicing the Phuket-Samui route.
Train
Visitors can take a train from Bangkok to Surat Thani Railway Station, then take a connecting bus to Samui via the Ferry
Car
Surat Thani can be most conveniently reached by car from Bangkok by taking Highway No. 4 to Chumphon via Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan, and thence onto Highway No. 41 and Highway No. 401.

Taxi
Car taxis are available almost anywhere on the island and can take you to most places, Make sure to agree on the price before departing as meters are barely used.
Motorbike Taxi
Motorbike taxis are often located near major resorts and businesses again make sure that the price is agreed on before departing.
Song Tiew
Trucks (or utes) with bench seats and covered area on the back for people to sit, the most common form of public transport on the island and cheaper than taxis. They only travel set routes covering most of the island.
Rental Car
If taxis are not your thing then a large variety of cars can be rented for an average of 1,000 THB per day.
Rental Motorbike
The humble motorbike is the most common and economical form of transport on the island rental per day being 100-250 THB and per month for 2000-4000 THB.
