Description of holiday villa near Javea, Costa Blanca / Alicante

A detached villa for 6/8 people (3 bed/3 bath) with private pool and sea views. It is well suited for 2 parties or families to holiday together and because its layout provides separate living and sleeping areas.

There are breathtaking views from various vantage points around the headland with a number of coastal walks that vary in degree of difficulty.

In and around Javea there are so many fabulous places to visit, from bars to restaurants, to unspoilt areas of natural beauty, tucked away, for you to discover, whatever your preference you are sure to have a perfect holiday!

Steps down from the covered car port/parking area to the main villa accommodation which comprises of an entrance hall, spacious lounge/dining area with open fire, air conditioning and Naya (outdoor covered terrace and BBQ with sea view), a brand new fully fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher, cooker, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, 2 double bedrooms with air conditioning and wardrobes. The master bedroom has a small balcony with lovely sea views and an en-suite, 1 family bathroom. TV offering channels in English, French, Spanish and German.

The lower level is a self-contained apartment with its own private entrance. There is 1 large double bedroom, small kitchen, washing machine, shower room, lounge with room for 2 x single beds.

Several outside seating areas for al-fresco dining. 8 x 4 swimming pool, outside shower and pool terrace.

Javea (or Xabia to locals) is a beautiful town situated at the easterly point of mainland Spain at the northern end of Costa Blanca. Its rugged coastline is indented with secluded coves, sandy beaches and areas of unspoilt natural beauty with a stunning backdrop created by the Montgo mountain. Javea is divided into three different areas; the old town, the port and the beach, and is approximately 100km from Valencia and 90km from Alicante.

The local green countryside is dotted with white washed villas, shady pine trees, citrus groves and vine terraces, which make a pretty and relaxing setting for those wanting to have a peaceful holiday away from the package tour crowds. A truly fantastic area with no shortage of things to do, or places to visit.

The beaches
The 'Arenal' is Javea's blue-flag beach, where the shore gently slopes into the water. The promenade has a number of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars providing a variety of cuisine to suit all tastes.

During the evening in the summer, you will find stalls selling their handmade crafts.

There are also several scenic coves nearby. Granadella with its crystal clear water is a favourite for scuba diving and snorkelling, as is Portichol.

Deposit/Booking Notes: Booking Conditions

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Balance to be payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. A refundable security deposit of €200 is required (with final balance or on arrival) to cover loss of keys or damages.

Prices quoted are per week (7 nights) for the villa, and not per person.

Change-over day is normally Saturday with arrival after 4pm and departure by 10am, but we try to be flexible whenever possible.

Rental prices include bed linen, towels*, basic welcome pack *please supply beach/swimming towels.

Location description

Costa Nova Marina in Javea is a beautiful and peaceful residential area and the villa sits on the stunning cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean with wonderful sea views. Within walking distance from the villa there are breathtaking views from the coastal paths that vary in degree of difficulty, and stone steps lead down to the sea, which is an ideal spot for diving, fishing or swimming.

Golf & Sports
Golf is available at the Club de Golf Javea (15 minute drive), Club de Golf La Sella (20 minute drive), or Golf Ifach (20 minute drive), in Moraira.

Javea offers a fantastic range of activities, which include scuba diving, fishing, sailing, tennis, snorkelling, cycling, walking and bowling.

Local events

Depending upon the time of year that you visit you may well get the chance to experience a real Spanish fiesta. One of the most spectacular fiestas in Javea is the Fogueres de Sant Joan in mid June. This goes on for several days culminating in the burning of huge papier mache effigy in the Old Town. Visit in mid July and you will catch the elaborate Moors and Christians fiestas with colourful street parades in the Port.

In the first week of September, the fiestas in honour of the Virgen del Loreto takes place in the Port with running bulls, firecrackers, bands, parades and fireworks.

Tourist attractions

Within a 45 minute drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar (aquatic and marine animals). An evening trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret show is performed
