Description of holiday villa near Es Grau, Menorca

Our private villa is set in the rural countryside of Menorca with beautiful panoramic views of S’Albufera Natural Parc. The villa is built on a single level, making it ideal for people who have difficulty with stairs. It has traditional marble floors and vaulted ceilings, to keep it cool in summer.

The spacious kitchen/diner has a dishwasher, washing machine, gas oven and microwave, together with an excellent range of equipment for the keen cook.
The doors leading from the kitchen to the shaded veranda, open out completely, giving you a lovely ‘inside outside’ feel; it also makes for hassle-free alfresco dining.

The circular lounge is located through the kitchen. This unique room has, some of the best views looking north across S’Albufera. The patio doors in the lounge lead to the rear terrace.
Also on this side of the villa are three twin-bedrooms: the master bedroom with double bed, is on the south side of the villa and has its own en suite shower room.

Bed linen and bath towels are changed weekly.
The spacious family bathroom has a good size bath with shower attachment.
Throughout the villa the windows are all fitted with fly screens and there are plenty of fans. There is also a good selection of books and a games chest for a wide range of ages.

We can, with prior notice, provide a cot and highchair, should you require one.
The gardens are secluded and blend beautifully with the surrounding wild olive trees and other indigenous plants. Across our land we have a mix of organised beds and total wilderness! We are enthusiastic gardeners but not yet expert, so, we have a lovely lady who comes in once a week to keep things in some kind of order.

The private pool is 4 metres x 10 metres, it has wide semi-circle Roman style steps leading down into the water and, even though it is not heated it reaches over 80 degrees in the summer months.
Please take note: our pool has no fenced perimeter, therefore small children will need supervision.

We think the views from the villa are really special, both looking out to the farmland and looking across S’Albufera Natural Parc where you will often see various birds of prey.
We have a wild tortoise who often visits our poolside, and in the evening you will hear the frog chorus along with the crickets.

Please contact us by email or phone. We will then reserve your chosen weeks for one week to give you time to send in your booking form & deposit.

We ask for a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total cost of the villa hire e.g. 2 weeks in July £2800, deposit due with booking form £280.
The remainder of the payment will be due no later than 8 weeks before your departure date, without this final payment the booking will go back onto the market.
On receipt of the balance we will send you the final details, which includes directions from the airport to the villa, keys, emergency contact numbers etc.
