Description of holiday villa near Es Grau, Menorca
Set in the heart of the S’Albufera Nature Reserve Casa Colina is a delightful three bedroomed villa with private pool and far reaching views across beautiful countryside.
Peaceful and quiet the villa is only five minutes walk from the fantastic S’Albufera lake with it’s abundance of wildlife both indigenous and exotic. - The perfect venue for the bird lover, or for the family looking for a relaxing break away from it all.
From the front terrace a graceful archway leads into the living area which is large and open plan, offering two separate seating areas and a spacious dining area. The well equipped kitchen leads off from here and is light and airy. There is a washing machine, microwave, brand new gas cooker with hob, two fridge/freezers and, outside, a BBQ. There is a TV with sky and DVD player. Please bring your own favourite films.
The master bedroom has its own private terrace and an ensuite. Bedroom two has twin beds. Bedroom three can be made up as a double or twin and has an ensuite. The family bathroom is spacious and situated adjacent to bedroom two.
To catch the best sun you should sit on the front terrace in the morning, with views to the lake and the pretty village of Es Grau and in the afternoon and evening on either of the back terraces by the pool from where you can see, across the Nature reserve and beyond, all the way to Monte Toro.
Casa Colina is only a very short drive away from Es Grau with its gorgeous horseshoe shaped bay of shallow water, exceptionally safe for younger children, wonderful restaurants and the café on the beach. Here you will also find the small but well stocked shop which caters for most needs. For further or more sophisticated shopping Mahon, the beautiful capital, is only ten minutes drive away.

Location description
The Nature Reserve is large and very beautiful, full of fantastic wildlife. The S'Albufera lake, only a very short walk away, is the last fresh water 'stop over' for birds migrating between Europe and Africa and is the main reason that Menorca was chosen to be designated a protected biosphere. It is now a protected wild life sanctuary noted for its wealth of bird life. There are many beaches, walks, restaurants and attractions all within a short drive.
