Menorca (Minorca) is the gem of the Balearics and this self catering, privately owned, holiday rental villa in Son Vilar, Es Castell, is air conditioned and set in a quarter acre grounds and sleeps 2 to 7. It has a private pool, large terrace and barbeque, and a further patio.

The property is situated in Son Vilar, a quiet residential village on the outskirts of the popular Mahon and Es Castell, and is close to amenities, superb restaurants and bars, and a short drive to gorgeous beaches. An ideal base for families or couples seeking a villa holiday on this lovely Island. It is fully equipped (including Satellite FreeSat TV), and all linen is supplied and laundered weekly. A hire car can be arranged direct in Menorca with a good discount for my tenants.

The rental detached holiday villa in Son Vilar, near Es Castell, Menorca (Minorca), consists of three double bedrooms (one en-suite), Lounge / Dining Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Patio, Private Swimming Pool, Large Terrace and Barbeque. The villa is tastefully furnished throughout and the kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge (stocked with basic food and drinks for your arrival!), cooker, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, iron, washing machine, utensils, crockery and glasses, as well as all linen except beach towels. All bedrooms are air conditioned, both COOLING or HEATING, and sleeps two to seven.

The property also has a Satellite TV (Free To Air), Playstation 2, CD & Cassette Player, short wave radio, and a DVD and VHS Player in the lounge.

The villa is thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and on your subsequent departure.

Fresh linen and a villa clean is supplied weekly, and the pool is regularly cleaned during your stay. If there are any villa or pool problems a quick phone call to my local manager will resolve it.

Kitchen/Utility:	Oven, Hob, Grill, Fridge, Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Coffee maker, Washing machine, Ironing board, Iron Excellent supply of all utensils.
Outdoors:	Swimming Pool, BBQ, Private garden, Terrace, Sunloungers, Patio table, Patio chairs, Sunshade Private Pool has Roman Steps (great for novice swimmers, or the elderly).
Access:	Car essential, Off road parking A hire car is strongly recomended anywhere you stay on Menorca. My tenants receive 20% discount on local car hire.
Services:	Linen provided, Towels provided, Cleaning included, Laundry included The villa is thoroughly prepared for your arrival, and cleaned on your departure. There is a weekly change of linen, and a bathroom and kitchen interim clean. There is a welcome pack of initial supplies (including wine and beer!).

Location description

The magical Mediterranean Island of Menorca (Minorca) has over 120 beaches, some of them being the most beautiful in Europe. Most are unspoiled and they are to be be found in every nook and cranny of the coastline of an island only 30 miles by 12. Some are long stretches of fine sand, others are sheltered bays or coves. The sea is of the clearest blue with an unmatchable clarity and with the most agreeable of temperatures which make it a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, or for those just lounging and chilling out.
During the year there is an average of 300 days of sunshine with an average of 5 hours a day in winter and more than 10 hours a day in summer.

For those interested in history and culture there is much to see and do, while for lovers of good food and wine there are some excellent local restaurants offering very reasonably priced meals and the waterside cave bars in Es Castell (5 min's drive from Son Vilar) enable you to soak up the atmosphere. For those on a budget I provide a guide for my tenants of local restaurants to eat (3 courses) for less than 11 Euros (including wine)!
