Description of holiday villa in East End, Grand Cayman
The Villa
Designer-decorated 2,450 sq. ft. 3+ bedroom, 3 story Caribbean style villa with media loft and separate office/writing area. There are 3 1/2 bathrooms. Extremely spacious and luxurious villa. Fully equipped state-of-the-art open-concept kitchen with granite countertops, halogen cooktop and convection/microwave oven, dishwasher and side-by-side refrigerator with ice dispenser. Also included is a stacking washer & dryer. Our Cayman rental Villa has FREE DSL (High Speed Wireless Internet access).
First Floor
Spacious, ultra modern granite kitchen with built-in cooktop, state-of-the-art combination Convection Oven / Microwave. You can use it as a regular oven or microwave, or both. The built-in ceramic halogen cooktop heats up instantly; you have options for single, double or triple elements depending on the pot/pan size. Underneath the cooktop is a convenient pots and pans drawer.
The Kitchen-Aid side-by-side refrigerator comes with your choice of cubed or crushed ice -- a necessity in the Caribbean! The piece-de-resistance are the Island lime green small appliances -- coffee maker, toaster and blender.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, dishes, wine glasses, pots and pans, can opener, etc -- everything you need to cook as much or as little as you wish. Both major grocery stores [Hurley's and Fosters] have a huge assortment of freshly prepared foods (from pasta to chicken, seafood, chinese food, rice dishes, soups, stir-fry, salads, etc etc. You get the best of both worlds -- not having the expense of dining out every day and the convenience of not having to cook at home. Nevertheless, gourmet chefs will LOVE this kitchen!
First Floor
Bright, spacious open concept kitchen, living room and dining room are decorated in a rattan tropical theme.
The unique coffee table has four little pull-out seats -- perfect for small children or for adults playing cards. There is a large 32'' TV with DVD/VCR player.
Four people can comfortably sit around the breakfast bar for more casual meals. The dining table seats six.
Bright sunlight fills the rooms from the large windows and sliding glass doors overlooking the pool.
Guest Bedroom
This 1st floor guest room is one of our favourites with its casual flip-flop designs comforter and big, fluffy pillows. Note the chest-on-chest-on-chest dresser as well as the bamboo desk with small chair.
There is an ensuite bathroom with shower stall. To the left of the large chest of drawers is a large walk-in-closet.
You have a Beautiful View of the Ocean from your window.
Since the "Bamboo Room" is on the Main Floor, it is ideal for older or handicapped guests (or teenagers who want to be away from their parents!). It is ideal as a guest room too if anyone is visiting you.
Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom is absolutely stunning! Rich, vibrant and passionate reds with co-ordinating, brightly coloured comforter with red & pink hibiscus and palm leaves. Matching striped drapes frame the windows of this sunlight-filled room.
High, cathedral ceilings with a ceiling fan frame the luxurious king-sized canopy bed. Note the incredible view of the beach and ocean (see picture below) Lush tropical colours combined with the white-washed furniture give this room an "Island" feel. Casual, sophisticated and elegant, yet so Caribbean!
Large ensuite Separate shower stall Large deep luxurious jacuzzi tub Black granite countertops with his and her sinks.
After a long hard day of play in the sun & sand, or after a chilly night dive, you can peacefully relax in a warm bubblebath.
The Parisian Palm Bedroom
The Parisienne Palm bedroom, with it's queen size four poster bed, is reminiscent of a scene in Paris with the little wrought-iron cafe tables for two amongst the tropical plants. With the palm trees added, it is the perfect comforter for our "tropical" themed house. The white-washed antiqued furniture adds to the elegant, yet casual atmosphere.
With sliding patio doors off both bedrooms, this balcony is the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee, or a quiet spot to read your book, whilst overlooking the 5-tier swimming pool.
The Media Room
A large semi-circular sectional couch (with bed) surrounds the TV where a large group of people can watch TV or a movie. There is a built in kitchenette for snacks and a work area for those who need it.
