Description of holiday villa in Ciudad Quesada near Torrevieja, Costa Blanca / Alicante

The villa has spacious room to sun bathe next to the pool with ample sun loungers, and the pool has lights for those who want to take advantage of that midnight 'dip'. Bathers are expected to shower and remove all suntan products prior to bathing.
The community pool is only 30 metres away which proves very popular with younger members of the family, and again there are ample sun beds with large umbrellas for shade.
The property is inspected and cleaned prior to arrival, the swimming pool is cleaned twice weekly in peak. Guests are expected to leave it clean.

The lounge is fitted with freesat T.V satellite access and comfortable surroundings allowing for relaxation after a hard day's enjoyment. There are a number of children's DVDs available to watch also. This villa has a spacious solarium with plenty of room for the sunbeds provided and is south facing - so the villa gets the sun all day.

Quesada golf course (18 holes) is only 5 minutes drive away and a number of top courses are within driving distance. For example - Villamartin 18 holes, 15 mins drive away. Las Ramblas 18 holes, 15 mins drive away. Real Club de Campoamor 18 holes. 15 mins drive away.

Location description

Situated on the Costa Blanca about 40 minutes' drive south of Alicante, close to sandy beaches, this is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday and an attractive location for golfers.
Sporting facilities - Apart from the obvious attraction of the La Marquesa Golf Course there are many other sporting facilities to be enjoyed in this area. Ciudad Quesada itself has its own Aqua Park, with slides and pools, offering fun for all the family.

Other activities

There are tennis courts on site and bicycles for hire from one of the local shops. This is a popular area for windsurfing and enthusiasts usually travel to the Mar Menor. Coat yourself in the mud from the shores, which they say improves rheumatism and arthritis

Local events

Located to the rear of Torrevieja on the Creviellente road, this town is accessed by going through the arches in a rather roman fashion.This is a new urbanisationand has a sleepy charm with British bars and a wide variety of restaurants. You could cycle here from Torrevieja.
Ther is a natural nature park that is two minutes away where a number of activities like paella parties take place and is a great place to have a bar-b-cue.. In Rojales and other surrounding areas fiestas are common place and often followed by fireworks which are spectactular.

Tourist attractions

There are many historical places to visit especially the ancient city of Cartagena. Benidorm and La Manga can be reached easily by major motorways. Murcia with its aray of new shops is easily accessible by car.Markets are on every day all around Quesada.
