La Maison Caveirac, a spacious stone built house adjoining the 17th centuary château, which we also call the "little Versailles" has been completely renovated to the very highest standards. It combines the ageless charm of rural provincial architecture with the exquisite style and convenience of modern design.

The living areas – kitchen, dining and lounge as well as the entertainment room – are subdivided by arches and impressive natural rock vaulted ceilings. The entertaining room is equipped with TV/home cinema. There is also a small library, a large choice of DVDs and CDs are available for your pleasure. The living area is grand, contemporarly and comfortabely furnished.

An iron spiral stair case leads up from the lounge to the spacious landing area with high ceilings and ancient beams leading to four double bedrooms, two luxury bathrooms with separate toilets, all designd to meet your high standards.

Within the extensive gardens of the property is a 50m2 inviting swimming pool, patio area adjoining sheltered summer kitchen with barbecue. There are large terrace areas for alfresco dining with access to the kitchen and lounge areas. Mediterranean plants set in stone pebble beds and colourful flowers in ceramic pots reflect the typical atmosphere of Southern France.

Just around the corner of La Maison Caveirac you find our bakery, the butchery, the vegetable and fruit shop, the bar, the restaurant, the hairdresser and many more. Adjacent to our grounds is also the “arena des taureaux” and you will feel invited to join the daily village life and the many cultural festivals.

situated in the most picturesque street in the heart of Caveirac.
Caveirac is a lively and historic village in close proximity to the Camargue, the Mediterranean and the Cévennes.
There are specialised green routes for walking, roller blading and cycling, extending 20kms to Sommières with all its attractions and also the exploration of the spectacular Vaunage and Garrigue countryside.
There are numerous festivals and 'fêtes des taureaux' throughout the year as well as the opportunities for many other activities - golf, water sports, cycling, walking, horse riding, visiting markets and for the less energetic wine tasting ! ..... The list is endless ....

Directions

You easily find us when coming from Nîmes:
leaving at the A9 autoroute péage junction no. 25. At the first roundabout take direction Alès – Sommières. At the second roundabout turn left direction Sommières, D40. Continue 9 kms to Caveirac.
On entering the village turn right at the first set of traffic lights direction Centre Village. On reaching the water fountain turn right into rue du Pont. We are approx. 25m on the left.
