2-story villa with a private pool, set in a lush 1275m2 estate in a historic seaside town on the outskirts of Barcelona:

This stunning private residence is walking distance from one of the top beaches of Barcelona and is close to seaside restaurants.

It is surrounded by its own gardens which contain a small pond with terrapins and a large swimming pool. The sun loungers set out tastefully along with the gazebo and terrace sofas add to a lovely, relaxing atmosphere.

The villa itself is roughly 300m2 and set on 2 levels and is perfect for either a large family or friends who like to holiday together.

The large and tastefully appointed ground floor has a huge living room cum dining room besides a spacious kitchen with top appliances for all your culinary needs. Close by is a small guest bedroom/ office with its own toilet.

Up the beautiful spiral staircase, you will find a richly coloured master bedroom with a walk in dressing room as well as a luxurious bathroom with its own centrepiece in the form of a jacuzzi. Next door is a boys' room with a bunk-bed, a pink girls' room as well as another huge bedroom done up in calming tones of violet, with its own bathroom with jacuzzi and sitting area.

A 3rd bathroom with a bath tub is in the corridor and is set out n bright colours.

Fluffy towels are thoughtfully laid out for you as well as a change of sheets, all kitchen cutlery and crockery, in this beautifully laid out residence.

Location description

Castelldefels is a small seaside town that is located between Barcelona and Sitges. Along with the neighbouring area of Gava Mar it is the perfect place to benefit from the best of nearby Barcelona city whilst enjoying the sandy beaches and impressive mountains.

The area has a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm, dry summers.

Castelldefels is a very international town and many children attend the excellent English and international schools including the British School of Castelldefels.

Local events

Festivals rooted in the origins of the town, traditional neighbourhood festivals that have been carried on generation after generation. Some of the highlights in June include the festivals of Vista Alegre and Castell-Poble Vell, Canyars, and Les Botigues. In July the neighbourhood festival of Lluminetes and the Fiestas del Mar take place, and in September are the festivals of Montmar and Can Vinader.

The Summer Festival is held in the second week of August.

Other activities worth seeing include the Procession of the Three Wise Men in January, the Carnival in February, and the Sant Ponç Festival in May.

Music, theatre, and dance

La The Municipal school of Dance and the Plaza Theatre contribute to the town’s music and theatre agenda, and offer a regular programme the whole year round.

Particularly interesting is the Castelldefels Dance Festival which takes place during the first fortnight of July. The theatre provides the stage activity in Castelldefels, and also serves as a space for training and rehearsals.
