Description of holiday villa in Cala San Vicente, Mallorca / Majorca

10 CAN BOTANA is a spacious two-storey villa - one of twelve built around a 14m swimming pool, surrounded by pine trees.

Sleeps 6, the villa has a very spacious and airy ground floor comprising a lounge, dining-area, kitchen, laundry room, downstairs cloakroom and outside terraces at both the front and rear. The villa is fitted with locally sourced furniture, and is tiled throughout in a typical and traditional Mallorcan theme.

Upstairs, there are two large bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes and many drawers for storage. The master bedroom has a double bed and a seperate single bed and doors leading onto a large private sun terrace at rooftop level. The second bedroom has two single beds and a set of windows overlooking the pool in the distance. There is a further single bed on the large landing area so we can comfortably acommadate 6. Also upstairs is the family bathroom, which houses a bath, shower and bidet. We have provided a cot and high chair for our younger guests.

Location description

Cala San Vicente is a former fishing village, with three perfectly formed sandy beaches of crystal clear water. Cala Molins beach is a three-minute walk - the emerald green waters are ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

In July and August, temperatures average daily highs of 29°C. In May, June, September and October 22°C to 26°C.

Cala San Vicente is situated on the northern coast of Mallorca, some 35 miles north-east of Palma and the airport, and four miles north-east of Pollensa. The drive from the airport takes roughly 45 minutes, much of which is by motorway. Nearby POLLENSA is typically Mallorcan, with a lively and colourful market. PUERTO POLLENSA is a sumptuous port town, with restaurants along the promenade, and seaplanes to see the spectacular views of the harbour, and the sea cliffs of nearby FORMENTOR.
