Description of holiday villa in Anduze, Languedoc-Roussillon

Maison Pommiers is a large luxury villa in 2 acres of quiet and private grounds with a small wood and stream. Situated on the fringes of Boisset et Gaujac, a village 5 minutes East of Anduze and on the very edge of the 'Cevennes' National Park. The private 10 x 5 metre azure blue saltwater pool, whilst in the sunniest of positions, also has a number of 'mulberry trees' giving a serene shade. The villa even has it's own full-size boules pitch with the boules available. There is a car shade under which you can sling the hammock, and nearby a BBQ. The veranda at the front of the house offers shade in the heat of the day, and the ground floor of the house is tiled and cool. The large lounge / dining room has a fireplace for winter log fires and the separate kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances. Car rental is advised. If you are looking for peace and quiet (apart from birdsong) in a beautiful environment with tremendous countryside on your doorstep then this is the perfect place!

Directions

We usually fly Ryanair from Liverpool (or Luton) to Nimes, and hire a car at the Airport. A good alternative is to use Eurostar to Paris and the TGV to Nimes.
