This lovingly restored villa is the last house in the tiny village of Roo situated in the region of Ria de Noia y Muros. Its four large double bedrooms allow for fantastic views of the surrounding hills and mountains and a tempting glimpse of the nearby sea and pristine beaches. Its private garden has its own pool (10m x 5m) and plenty of 'chill out' areas ensuring absolute privacy for sun and siesta time. The Orange, manderine, pear, apple, peach, lemon and fig trees complete the countryside ambiance as the garden disappears into the forest. Its a place for quality family time, for relaxation, for getting away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. This Spain hasn't changed in years, it remains unspoilt by the demands of the tourist industry. The beaches are pristine and spacious occupied only by the locals before and after their siestas. The nearest beach is a five minute drive from the house. Further excursions reveal a truly wonderful coastline littered with beautiful beaches.

Location description

Beautiful green Spain, this area is blessed with an abundance of lush forest, rivers, mountains, and pristine white beaches along the Ria. The local market and fishing towns of Noia and Muros provide a charming evenings entertainment. Further afield, the historical cities of Padron, Pontevedra, santiago and La Coruna are easily accessed.

Directions

The villa sits in the village of Roo de Abaixo, which is pitched into the mountains between Noia and Muros.
The main airport is Santiago de Compostela which is a 50 minute drive away. There are direct flights from Stansted, Liverpool and Dublin or indirect ones via Madrid and Barcelona.
You can also fly to La Coruña from Heathrow, or fly to Vigo and Porto and drive to the house within a couple of hours.
A car is an absolute necessity. It is best to hire from the airport that you are flying to and ensure that you have good insurance coverage. The drive to the first house is especially tricky for first timers.
