Description
Villa Manzara is a charming complex built in a traditional style and our units have the flexibility to accommodate between 2-6 guests.
There are four apartments at each floor of the two independent villas located in a landscaped garden of lush vegetation. The villas have charming individual features such as exposed beams and stonework, open fireplaces, large private terraces for serving breakfast and sun decking in privacy. All apartments have one master bedroom and two adjacent bedrooms sleeping up to six comfortably. The units are furnished with two bathrooms, two terraces- indoor and outside dining with full amenities. Some units can be rented as smaller and fully independent apartments, which have a double bedroom, bathroom and a living room with open kitchen, to accommodate a small family.
Our units are self-catered; provided with linen and towels and with maid service 3 days per week. The bathrooms are large and are equipped with hairdryers and washing machines.
All apartments have satellite TV, stereo music set, PC, radio, electric radiators, telephone, library, DVD/CD player, BBQ, microwave, hair dryer, sheets, dishwasher, iron & ironing board, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, blankets and towels. All bedrooms have A/C (heating & cooling). There is plenty of wood from our pruned almond trees if you want to light the fireplace.
These unique architecture villas are located appr 500 meters from the beach and the lovely fish restaurants. An ideal place with all the creative comforts, but in pleasant surroundings, offers many options.
The complex has a large garden with comfortable recreational facilities. The accommodation is ideal for families and couples alike. Our Hobby Terrace at the back garden is also being utilized for small parties & dining and painting (we provide the material), board games and open air cooking facilities. Barbecue nights in the garden are often arranged. Upon request we offer breakfast and specialities of the region at dinner.
Nuran teaches our guests Ottoman cooking or the guests sometimes have friendly competition among themselves in international cooking. Occasionally Nuran shows up with her home made cakes, jams and other delights to add yet more vibrancy to the food. You can always find fresh vegetables, fish, calamari, eggs, meat and village bread, (every morning, we have fresh village bread brought to the Villa and groceries are fetched to the villa on demand) all made naturally and old fashioned way right in the village. Every Wednesday, there is a big marketplace in Selimiye and we have a friend in Turgut who sells special hand-wowen buldan textile.
The whole area is ideal for walking or mountain biking. Our guests particularly enjoy the walk over the hills to Bozburun, the waterfall around Turgut and the climb to the small fortress overlooking the village.
Small tours or excursions to the environs, i.e. waterfalls, Datca/Knidos, Bozburun yatch harbour, and to the nearby historical ruins adds immeasurably to your appreciation of the history, landscape and culture with which you come into contact.
Our guests also choose to take the minibus to Marmaris for more sophisticated shopping or visit Bozburun where you can see traditional wooden gulets being built. It is also worth exploring the interior of the Peninsula. There are waterfalls close by, with trout restaurants where the tables are set in the river. Right up in the mountains you will find the picturesque village of Bayir which is the place to buy honey and pistachio nuts.
Boat trips are the highlight of a visit to Selimiye. The coastline is so stunning and the water so clear that a trip to deserted island for a barbecue lunch and a swim in a secluded bay is sure to be a memorable experience.

Situated in the Southern Aegean coast of Turkey, Selimiye is 40 km. south of Marmaris and is approximately 140 km. from the Dalaman and Bodrum International Airport.
