La Cocina is one of six properties at Molino la Ratonera, a recently restored flour mill in the heart of Andalucia. La Cocina provides comfortable accommodation for two people. The house is entered on the upper level which contains the kitchen and sitting area. A wood burning stove gives the house a cosy feel in the cooler months. Downstairs there is a bedroom and spacious shower room complete with bidet. From the bedroom double doors lead to the balcony furnished with a table and chairs.

Location description

Molino la Ratonera is a recently opened holiday retreat set in a watermill in a lush river valley. The location of this mill, in the heart of rural inland Andalucia, southern Spain, is within easy reach of Granada with the Alhambra and Albaicin, Malaga, Seville and Cordoba and yet its rural situation provides a haven for wildlife and an excellent environment for walking, birdwatching or relaxing. The beautiful 5 metre high waterfall and the 16th century mill tower add to the magic of the site and make it an unforgettable location.
Access to Molino la Ratonera is by newly resurfaced track, from our nearest town of Zagra, less than 2 miles away. Zagra contains bars and restaurants, an excellent small supermarket, banks with cash machines and even a castle. We are only 30 minutes away from the A92 motorway, which makes Granada, Malaga, Seville and Cordoba within easy reach for a day visit. With only an hour's journey from Granada airport and 1 hour 20 minutes from Malaga, this is an ideal holiday location.
