Newly constructed in 2006 in traditional style, Tedney Lodge is just a mile from The Olde Rectory along the leafy lanes. With it's green oak boards and weathered hand-made brick exterior, Tedney Lodge has a look of timelessness, blending seamlessly with the unspoilt countryside beyond.
Inside, the look is country contemporary. The sitting room's huge Bath stone fireplace is inset with a warming, log burning stove and with polished pale oak floors, thick woollen rugs and comfy leather sofas it offers the perfect setting for cosy winter evenings.
Walk through the hallway over the warm ochre, Italian travertine stone floors into the gourmet-equipped kitchen where sunlight streams in through the French doors. With its sleek modern units and gleaming range cooker, this is the perfect kitchen for entertaining. Dine in style on high-backed leather chairs around the grand pale oak table or throw the french doors open onto the totally private terrace and garden, an idyllic setting for a summer party.
Just off the kitchen is a fully fitted laundry room with plenty of space to kick off those muddy boots after a bracing autumn walk. Kids will love the small single ground floor bedroom (well away from Mum and Dad!)and the adjacent ground floor toilet and washbasin, ideal for those with limited mobility too.
Upstairs, the natural wood floors are strewn with stylish rugs and each of the four bedrooms enjoys a unique view of uninterrupted coutryside. The master bedroom suite has an impressive chocolate-coloured leather king size bed and enjoys a luxurious ensuite bathroom with gleaming, contemporary fittings. A family bathroom with a chic white suite and glass-screened bath with shower over is centrally placed for other bedrooms to share. Two further bedrooms with king-sized beds and a second single bedroom have all been individually styled and co-ordinated.
