The house has recently been renovated to high standard and is arranged over two floors. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, an open planned living room/dining room with a wood burning stove, a single bedroom, a bathroom with a power shower and an utility room with washing machine. The second floor has a master double bedroom, a single bedroom and double bunk bedroom. It also has large family bathroom with an antique cast iron bathtub. There is also a balcony which seats two.
To the side of the house there is a garden terrace with a pergola covered with grape vines to shade you from the sun which shines here all day. There is parking for three cars and the village has a local bar.

Location description
Our charming house is located in the rural village of Polujubinj, 2 kilometres from Tolmin in the heart of the Soca Valley with panoramic views of the nearby Julian Alps.The town of Tolmin is short drive or a fifteen minute walk away and it has numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The village of Most na Soci is also a short drive away and has a number of very good restaurants and a lake for swimming. There are numerous trails up into the Julian Alps from the back of the village as well as a gentle trail down to the Soca River.

The village in on the edge of Triglav National Park and is the starting point for numerous walks in the park which all offer spectacular views. One of the nicest is to the Tolminka Gorge which is an easy thirty minute walk away. Kobala, the mountain directly above the house, is one of the premier paragliding and hang gliding sites in Europe. There is also a friendly local bar which is a good place to practice your Slovene and relax after an enjoyable day exploring the Soca Valley..

ParaglidingThe premier take off site, Kobala, is directly above the house, at 1080m altitude, with an easterly or westerly take off direction. This links to the South westerly Krn range of mountains, with wide beautiful grassy fields and easy retrieves along the Soca River Valley back to Tolmin. Reliable thermal breezes will tkae you higher into the Juliana Alps, to connect with the snowy mountains at Bovec and into Austria. Continuing west, the stunning South West facing Stol ridge continues for 75km, taking you into Italy and connecting with the Dolomites. Classic Alpine flying, great landing options and easy retrieves make this one of the best flying areas in Europe.
