House Mediterranea is 450 years old stone house with some elements originating from a Roman BC time. This old house stone tells stories of many generations, who have lived here, loved each other, raised their children and laughed together. Today the house is proudly owned by a small family of artists, while the professional designers have spent the last few years renovating the house to give it back the olden and authentic charm.

In order to minimize any intervention or change, only the Indigenous materials were used, such as stone and wood, and the entire decor has been handpicked at the antiques shops. The garden is fenced by an old stone wall, and in its main part is partially covered with wine leaves, so that you can enjoy in your own privacy the entire day in a natural shade, having an open view to the green hills of Hvar.

200m2 of garden and 90m2 of housing space is ideal for a holiday for 4-6 people. The old tavern in the ground floor keeps fresh even during the hottest summer days because of the ancient stone floor. The upper floor consists of 3 charming bedrooms, also with the authentic stone walls. Be inspired by this authentic atmosphere. Make an open fire in the garden and spend the evenings in telling family stories to your youngest.

Location description

Stari Grad Old Town is a magical labyrinth of ancient stone and serene silence. It has fantastic restaurants, great things to see, and plenty of things to do. The cultural heritage is phenomenal!

Open air theaters, classical music in medieval churches, superb restaurants, and most incredible sceneries and flavors that you can imagine!

The house is situated in the very centre of the town, in a calm and quite pedestrian zone, a few walking minutes from the town bay and the harbor. One can easily reach all shops, a local fruit market, a bar, a restaurants, or an open air cinema.
