    Description

    This thoughtfully restored house sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. The property is located on a wide and quiet tree lined street in the centre of Saint-Chinian. There are ample free car parking spaces available in the shaded square just behind the house. Swimming pool in village. 35 minutes to beaches. Electric heating makes for extra comfort during the colder winter months. The spacious accommodation is arranged over three floors. Ground floor with entrance hall, utility room and bathroom. First floor with large sitting/dining room with balcony and kitchen. Second floor with 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom.

    DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION

    The spacious accommodation is arranged over three floors.

    On the ground floor an entrance hall from where stairs lead to the main floors of the house, and a utility room (with washing machine, ironing board and iron).

    On the first floor (2nd for Americans) you find a fully equipped kitchen (including fridge/freezer, gas/electric cooker, electric kettle and coffee maker), which retains its traditional Languedocien fireplace (non functional). The kitchen is provided with all utensils, cookware, crockery and glassware for serious cooking and eating.

    The Living/dining room - is spacious and sunny with windows on two sides. It is furnished with two sofas, wicker chairs, round dining table and chairs and well stocked bookcases. A mini HiFi system with CD, radio and cassette player and a TV, VCR and DVD player for watching videos and DVDs (no television reception), along with a selection of records, video tapes and games provide added entertainment. French doors lead from the living room onto a small balcony, from where you can watch the world go by, relaxing with a drink or a book.

    Two bedrooms are on the second floor (3rd for Americans), one with a double bed, the other with two single beds, along with a luxury style bathroom, with shower, toilet and washbasin.

    The house is bright and airy with stylish furnishings throughout. It comes fully equipped with all crockery, kitchenware and bed and household linen. Free parking is available in the little square behind the house.

    Location description

    Saint-Chinian has something on offer for everyone, be it the interesting local wines, the stunning scenery, the food in the twice weekly market, the peaceful country walks, or the slower pace of life. Within a very small radius there is horse-riding, canoeing and swimming as well as lots of sightseeing.

    Directions

    The village of Saint Chinian is located 30km east of Beziers, and is a half hour drive from the A9 motorway exit.
    Ryanair, Easyjet and Flybe serve airports in the region, all within maximum 2 hours drive from Saint-Chinian. Beziers has TGV connections and there are regular bus services from there to Saint-Chinian
