Our two story stone home and holiday gite is in the heart of our small village of Langoat, Brittany, France. Set amongst fields of the 'Cotes D'Armor' along the river Jaudy. This part of Brittany is a holiday favorite and close to a wide variety of beaches, green fields dotted with standing stones, ancient chateau and villages of stone and slate. Horseback riding, golf, swimming, walking trails and kayaking are nearby. We are across the street from a lovely churchyard with a bakery / patisserie, village bar, grocer and chic hair stylist down the street. Free parking in the main square just steps from the door. For antique hunting there are many brocantes in the immediate area, Treguier has 2 just 6K away. The farmers markets weekly in each town are a must for fresh produce and finding those favorite table linens, etc. There are lists of each towns market day at the house. You are only minutes away from a variety of beaches, and the swim arcade of Armoripark.

All linens are provided as are towels, the home is very well appointed for your comfort. The kitchen has all spices, stainless cookery, Bosch dishwasher, American style frig/freezer. The antique armoir in the dining room stores plate ware, designer stainless flatware, and drinking glasses, champagne, cognac and wine glasses as well.

Three beautiful upstairs bedrooms accommodate up to six people in splendid comfort. One with double bed, one with two singles and one with queen bed. A large salon/dining area with granite fireplace and traditional Breton furnishings. The country kitchen has modern, stainless appliances. Off of the attached garage is a decked terrace with table, chairs, BBQ and view of church clock tower. There are two tiled upstairs bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a sunken bath. Included is a washer and tumble dryer.

This sum will be reimbursed within 2 weeks of your departure and after a satisfactory final inspection of the property.

www.kayak-roche-derrien only 2 Km away from Langoat. Leaving the charming port of Paimpol and its’ cobblestone alleys and chic shops you can drive north, following signs, to catch the ferry to the lovely lIe de Brehat. Called the island of” flowers and pink granite rocks” the lovely stone cottages and lush gardens are buffered by the mild micro-climate of the warm Gulf Stream. Since no cars are allowed excepting the very small farm tractors, it is an ideal walking or cycling site for the whole family. In Treguier the Cathedral Saint Tugdal dates back to the 15th Century and is one of the most beautiful cathedrals of Armorique.

In Paimpol the Abbey du Beauport is a partly restored 13th Century abbey of the Premontre orders in a lovely coastal setting just 10 min from Paimpol’s charming port. The gardens of Jaradin de Kestellic, at Plouguiel is a 6 hectacre garden with some 1000 species of exotic plants in a spectacular environment overlooking the Jaudy estuary.
