La Buissonniere is a majestic residence set in its own 15 acres of parkland in Evian at the foot of the French Alps with unbelievable views of lake Geneva.

The main house was designed by a well known international architect and completed in 2008 to the highest of specifications. It was built using traditional local materials and incorporates all the latest technology. The double height glass and wood facade ensures that nothing is lost of the breathtaking views of lake Geneva from within the house and the log burning open fireplaces and the warm colours and materials that have been used make the house feel cosy and warm all year round.

The house has every modern convenience and is extremely practical. It has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, a split level living area which has log burning fire places on each level and double height windows running all the way around it, a dining room with an open plan kitchen area and a second kitchen area for out-of-site preparation, a utility room and a ski room.

The property is 10 minutes away from the nearest ski slopes and 30 minutes away from the largest linked ski area in the world (Les Portes du Soleil). In the summer, the mountains, the lake and the Evian Masters Golf Club and Royal Spa Resort offer a multitude of activities.

The nearest ski resort is a 10 minute drive from the property. It is called Bernex and provides ample skiing for beginner or intermediate skiers.

For those looking for a more extensive ski area, the Portes du Soleils domain is accessible at La Chapelle D'Abondance which is a 30 minute drive from the property. From there you can ski to 12 different resorts in France and Switzerland. The Portes du Soleil is the largest international linked ski area in the world with over 650 km of pistes and 195 ski lifts.
