Alemar House is located in Barbati on the northeast coast of Corfu surrounded by olive groves.
Barbati resort itself is a small and quiet relaxing village, popular for its crystal clear blue sea and long pebble beach.
The proprietors have furnished the rooms, tastefully, with character and a quiet luxury. Air conditioning in 2 bedrooms. This house is ideal for couples and families. The setting for this house takes your breath away, the sea views from the balcony and terrace are truly spectacular. Within walking distance of the beach.
Large balcony area and terrace outside the living space with table and chairs for the outside eating area together with soft furnished seating for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view. So whether you wish to simply relax and enjoy the view, perhaps with a chilled glass of something delicious, or enjoy the opportunity for al fresco dining, this area is ideal at any time of day or evening.
The wonderful sunbathing terrace with sunbeds and parasol and some natural shade from the overhanging olive trees, the area is not at all overlooked providing you with complete privacy.

Location description
Barbati is situated at the north-eastern end of Corfu, about 23km from Corfu town, the port and airport. Perched on the foothills of the majestic Mount Pontokrator, with a height of 906 meters, it is one of the most scenic regions of the whole island, amidst green cypress trees, olive trees and rich greenery. It offers breathtaking views along the coast to Corfu town on the right and across the Corfu channel to Albania and the Greek mainland on the left.
Barbati resort itself is a small and quiet relaxing village, popular for its crystal clear blue sea and long pebble beach. On the beach you can enjoy all sorts of water sports (paragliding, jetski, water ski, bananas etc), you can go diving with the Apollo diving centre of Corfu and also rent a boat for an unforgettable daytrip to the beautiful little beaches along the coast. There are many tavernas and restaurants with startling view across the Ionian blue, offering a wide choice of food, ranging from traditional Greek tastes and seafood to pizza, snacks and Mediterranean cuisine. Apart from the tavernas with a cosy family atmosphere, there are also many bars and beach bars for a varied and exciting night life.
Other activities available are organized excursions to Corfu town, tours of the island and to nearby Albania , walking trips in the surrounding countryside, diving excursions. You can rent a car or scooter to explore the island at your own pace, but there is also a frequent bus service to Corfu town and to the beautiful village of Kassiopi which stops at a multitude of small secluded bays such as the beautiful fishing villages of Nissaki, Kerasia, Kouloura and Agni, where you can enjoy a swim and a bite.
At a distance of 2 km from Barbati lies the village of Ipsos and Pyrgi whare you can find a pharmacy and medical centre, ATMs and a lively nightlife with many bars and night clubs along the beach. Corfu international airport 25km. Corfu ferry new port 23km. Corfu town 24km.

The golf course is approx 40 mins. drive and located in Ermones. The golf course is the most beautiful in whole Greece and it attracts a big number of golf players from all around the world, it has a great landscape and it is also suited for walking.

Ideal hideaway, near the sea, quiet, resort, romantic, village. Local supermarket and bakery 0.3km. 24 hours bank-cash 5km. Activities near Barbati: tennis in dafnila. bird watching, cycling, fishing, gymnasium, health spa, horse riding, night life, sailing, scuba diving, walking, water sports. Aqualand, Corfu's water park, is great fun for all ages. Situated in the Ropa Valley, just 30 minutes drive from Barbati, the park has a great selection of slides and rides, a lazy river and pool.

Old Fortress: The first settlement of the new Corfu Town during the 6th century started on the hill that would later become the Old Fortress. Built and fortified by the Venetians.
New Fortress: The walls of the New Fortress tower above the north-western side of the Old Town.
Achilleion Palace: This famous building was constructed in 1892 for Empress Elisabeth of Austria (Princess Sissy).
The Esplanade: The hub of Corfiot life is the Esplanade. Stroll around the gardens or sit in one of the many cafe bars.
Palace of St George and St Michael: Is the most impressive monument from the British rule of Corfu.
Archaeological Museum: The pride of the museum is the ‘Gorgon Pediment’ that is the oldest surviving monumental sculpture in Greece.
If you enjoy walking there are some interesting trails inland.
